Estelle is a singer songwriter from Átl’ka7tsem/Howe Sound. Her compositions usually arise from a deep place of presence and peace, or existential dread and loneliness, reminiscent of her biggest inspiration; the ocean. Estelle released her first independent album in January 2023 entitled “The Beehive”. In honour of her buzzing musical family, she collected family members and friends to weave textures around her diverse and unexpected compositions. When not performing with her band ‘Estelle and the Honeydews’, she can be found at home on Gambier Island, soaking up the sun and strumming to the Salish Sea.
