“ProRoguging” the Festival

COVID-19 and Your Rogue Fest

As all live, outdoor festivals, Rogue Fest 2020, in it’s original conception, could not have taken place. Cancelling an event that many have put so much heart and countless hours into was disappointing yet a complete necessity. Our industry, professionals, supporters, and artists have all felt the economic and social repercussion of this. We’ve been thrown a major curveball.

But if the arts community is anything, we’re resilient.

The inspiration and ambition of creators has been awe inspiring. The dedication to continue providing and supporting art and culture despite the many hurdles that that now comes with it has been a much needed reprisal. The community has banded together and together they speak of hope and versatility.

Your Rogue Fest is onboard with these sentiments. We are working hard on finding ways to bring you the celebratory, community spirited events you have grown to love. Navigating the murky waters hasn’t been easy but we are confident that we can sustain the weight and come out the other end.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at contact@roguefest.ca.  And be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date on what we’re working on.

While they may not look the same for the time being, festivals are not dead.
